Thanks to @Mr. Lady Luck for tracking this one down for me.  I bought it from Joe Nacca and he was great to deal with.  I highly recommend him.  Now I’m down to one more issue in order to complete the set!  Luckily the last one I need is relatively easy to find and not too expensive compared to #17, 18, and 19.

Paid a very aggressive price for this on eBay ... but there are only a very few Everett covers that I place above it. Now I have to figure out some more books to sell ... GOD BLESS...

That price seems quite reasonable to me.

I got paid today, so I was finally able to get the last Venus I needed to complete the set!   It only took me 14 years to do it (man I’m slow).  When my #3, #4, 7, and 10 come back from Sarasota I’ll post a group shot.  It’s feels great to complete a Golden Age run.  I’ve never done that before.

Suspense...I think #19 is the best read of the run.

I don’t have too many Atlas books, but I picked up these two recently. They aren’t what I collect, so I’m sure I’ll sell them at some point, but I love the epic violent Venus 16 cover and the spectacular colors and condition on the War.

Great stuff, congrats on the Venus run Jason, that is very difficult and quite an achievement.  Thought you all might like to see my Atlas Sub-Mariner books (plus one Human Torch to round out the pic).

Those Atlas Sub-mariners are some of my favorite comics ever. Nothing like Everett in his prime. GOD BLESS...

Suspense #24 is a great cover. Brings back memories of this. I grew up in the glow in the dark period...

Me too! I had ‘em all lined up on a shelf behind my headboard. As a kid they were my glow-in-the-dark nightlight!

Yeah #19 hands down is a great cover. I like #24 as mentioned as a distant second with a few others as well. As far as covers go Suspense is a bit weaker title than others in the Atlas stable. It is one of the older Pre-Code titles for horror/fantasy coming in 1949 the same year as Amazing Mysteries and Marvel Tales. I don’t think as many people have gotten into #19 though because Suspense isn’t as high profile as many of the other Atlas titles. Maybe it’s dug it’s own grave?
