I have posted many of my Atlas books in appropriate threads - all pre-code horror. But I WILL acquiesce to post three of my very favorite Atlas pre-codes. (If things go my way I will have a couple or three unposted, newly acquired Atlas in the upcoming week or two.) But for now, my three fave...one at a time.

First is a low-grade of one of my grails. The legendary "broken neck cover". For a while I was happy with this one but a grade uipgrade will be on my list. (Look at it upside-down for the full impact of that face!)

Great cover on that Men's Adventures 22! Never seen that one before. I love Bill Everett's covers on those precode 50s Atlas books... he really had a thing for grinning skulls, didn't he? Anyone got any others?

The green on that Men's Adv 22 is quite creepy as well! And that's a Bill Everett on the JIUW isn't it?
