I have no doubt that Joe would've been a real go-to-guy for Stan, as he was during the Atlas days. I have some interior shots of my raw copy of this issue. I'll post some.

This set took me about 7 or 8 years to finish.  I picked up #4 at a comic shop in MA and decided I would try to get 1 - 11.  They aren't crazy valuable or sought after,  but they encompass everything I love about 50s comics.  Science fiction, a little post comic code horror,  great stories and a great group of artists. Everette,  Fox, Ditko, Burgos...

And hey,  the stories are both strange and unusual, so it's not just a clever name.
