Shortly after I posted that, I thought, I'm too new here to be smack-talking :).  Hopefully, it was seen as being in jest.  As much as I lusted over it,  I didn't actually put a bid on that one...I figure talking trash is probably not the way to go in an auction.  Might get burned by the guy with deeper pockets who just wants to make a spectacle out of the cocky jerk :flamed:

I will say that I figured it would go for more than it did though so cheers to the lucky winner!!!

You can’t always go by the final price. I’ve won many books well under what I was willing to pay. Just means there wasn’t anyone else at that time that was willing to go the distance with him. His high bid might have been just $1000.00 or it might have been $1500.00 or 2k. Only he and comic link will ever know...
