I really don't see any defects that would make it an 8.0 in my opinion, aside from some small spine dings. 

And I'll be honest I looked up the certification number lol. :devil:

Was there something wrong with the interior pages? Are you able to get the grader's notes for the book?

I'm going to try because it's a strange grade. I submitted through my LCS

And if it came polybagged how could it get damaged

There are 2 semi serious spine stresses that break color. 1 on ironmans shoulder pad, the 2nd underneath his arm pit...

The 3rd is by the barcode that looks more serious in the bottom pic... than the one that just shows the top of the barcode @Hollywood1892 it's right in between th 5 numbers on barcode and the longer numbers at spine
