I don’t have this in front of me. So it’s clean I’m just trying to figure out about the date stamp at the top and that what looks like some sort of line on the bottom back. A crease?

No not a tear

Still about 8.5 9.0 9.2

With the one tick at the DC lodo, where it says "thing"

With that amount of "scrape" on back not tare, I'm at 8.5

I think the scrape would almost be color rub or a scratch, I've had a 9.4 with 1 scratch

A 9.0 with a tape pull

So maybe 9.0 9.2 since as you said it IS clean and well centered

I think you are looking at 8.0/8.5. The back cover looks like a printer crease or two to me.

the FC has the spine crease @ADAMANTIUM mentioned and what I think are two small spine tears one ~2” below the bottom staple (in the window) and a smaller one about a 1/2” below the first one.  If these are not tears then maybe 9.0
