How Do You Insert Pictures Side-by-Side? 1 1

in the past, when I have inserted pictures, they are placed one after the other vertically. This causes my post to be very lengthy. I have seen people insert pictures so that they are side-by-side horizontally. Can someone explain to me how this is done?

The pic will be placed where the cursor is positioned.  After you load one pic, use the space bar to move the cursor over a few spaces and then load the pic.

if the pics are too large they might not fit side by side, but just delete and spaces between the photos and they should go side by side

Well, I learned that you can reduce the size of the pictures once they have been inserted in your post. That made all the difference in the world.
