What was throwing me off was it still says scheduled for delivery today

But doesn't say "out for delivery" so I didn't exactly know if I needed to be home to sign, you know? Even when I called before getting a representativ, it said it would be delivered today but was in transit

Which is it? I waited and waited for tracking to update but about 2pm, I called again to talk to someone, who said tomorrow

So I was being patient but mainly because I didn't know if I could be excited that it was coming today, juxtaposition if you will

Of course! And I appreciate that I can laugh about it now lol

But you know what FedEx did? Lol

FedEx text me yesterday to be home to sign for it today (shrug)

I mean it's good that I didnt have to cancel anything or I'd be ticked.

Trying to get this all out now so that the unboxing video is just the good stuff and not any venting :roflmao:

CGC is Excited to Welcome Back Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman for Another In-House Private Signing

Posted on 11/19/2020

Super duo comes back to CGC!

The super-duo is back for another CGC In-House Private Signing! CGC is excited to announce that comic book writer Donny Cates and artists Ryan Stegman will once again participate in a CGC In-House Private Signing event. But to spice things up CGC has designed new Knull label just in time for this exciting signing, PLUS Cates AND Stegman will be offering Remarques for purchase. But that's not all; if you were hoping for a Stegman sketch, you are in luck because he will also offer a limited amount for purchase. Get the full details on all the submission options below.

Cates made his first appearance in the comic world in 2013 while working on a number of independent comics for Dark Horse Comics, including Buzzkill, Dark Horse Presents and The Ghost Fleet. He later joined Marvel Comics and became a leading writer entrusted with long-run characters such as Thanos, Doctor Strange and the Inhumans. Cates was also a crucial part in the successful relaunches of Venom, Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy. Meanwhile, he continues to write independent and creator-owned books like Aftershock.

Detroit native, and super-talented comic book artist, Ryan Stegman is currently a Marvel-exclusive comic book artist who is well-known for his work on Venom, Spider-Man, X-23, The Incredible Hulk, New Mutants, Thor and She-Hulk.

“We’ve already had the pleasure of hosting Donny and Ryan, but fans were asking for them to come back — almost the day they left!” expressed Brittany McManus, CGC Signature Series Director. “So, when the opportunity came up to have them both back we couldn’t wait to tell everyone!”

If the CGC In-House Private Signing needs to be rescheduled CGC will securely store all submissions in its vault until the event can be rescheduled.

Books can be submitted for independent signatures from Cates or Stegman, or fans can have their books signed by Cates and Stegman. Books can also be submitted for a Remarque by Cates and Stegman, or sketch by Stegman.

After the artists sign the submitted books, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an expedited turnaround time of only three weeks. The "Age" doesn't matter on the Private Signings submissions as they have a set TAT, regardless of what Age they are.

I'm still waiting on my Joe Staton to move.

From date of signing I have averaged 2 week turnaround time to books in hand. I would expect these times to be higher for such a large signing.
