The rate by which this book is increasing in price continues to amaze me. Here’s the latest data point, from eBay :

 CGC 9.8

3500 - Aug 21, OW/W pages!!!...best offer accepted

while this copy didn’t sell for $3.5K, I think it was pretty close!

Off white/white direct edition for 3.5k

Man oh man!

It's over

This book is the new IH 181

Let's keep the toxic bs out of these forums.

You don't think  "Would have been more helpful if you said that you used gpa, but thanks anyway." is toxic B.S.? How about wild misstatements of fact like saying that 2650 is close to 3500?

The book was selling at $3500 OBO and seller decided to accept a deal for $900 less- hardly a misstatement of facts

Most iconic comic of the 1980s?  Most collectors can't afford it.

So, because they can't afford a real TMNT #1, they go for ASM #300. :kidaround:

But seriously, ASM #300 is the only remaining affordable truly iconic comic over the age of 30.

And it's almost not anymore!

(Sorry, was reading through old posts!)

There has to be some way to obtain the actual numbers/print run of each version. I mean someone out here has to have that info.

i I guess not knowing gives us this great platform to discuss, debate and share our theories of the actual #’s

Valiantman would be the closest to know those numbers

What else can I do to hold your hand while you buy and sell comic books.

Let's keep the toxic bs out of these forums.

You should have been here in the old days. What goes on now is a garden party by comparison
