I downloaded the pic and enlarged it to get a better look, I did not see anything that would be construed as a standout defect other than the staining at the top left of the back cover.

Without having the book in front of me or high resolution scans of the book in sections I cannot grade this book higher than a NM 9.4 although it may be NM+ 9.6.(?)

Almost imperceptible indentations are permissible, but no creases, bends, or color break. Small, inconspicuous, lightly penciled, stamped or inked arrival dates are acceptable as long as they are in an unobtrusive location. Spine is tight and flat. Staples must be original, generally centered, with only the slightest discoloration. Paper is off-white, supple and fresh. Only the slightest interior tears are allowed.

Thanks, I noticed the staining more in the pics than looking at the book in front of me.I wonder if clean and press would take any of that out?

picked it up at auction,thought it was 9.0 or better at the time.

A press would definitely help with this and a cleaning might too. Hard to stay if those stains would come out. Right now Id say its in the 9.0-9.2 range. I could see a press and a real good cleaning bringing this up to a 9.6 if those stains comes out.
