It's tempting to just pick Frazetta but his actual comics output is pretty small.

My only knock on Frazetta was that his line work was so fine that it was ill suited for the inferior printing process that plagued the interiors of most comics of the era.

Frazetta

Ferzetta is so awesome even if his entire body of comic work was one panel, he would still win.

I remember in 8th grade a friend got obsessed with conan and was telling me to read it.  he was saying how strong he was.  I read superman comics.  I asked if he could lift a house.  He said no he's not that kind of strong.  I got immediately hooked by the first conan and read em all.  buddy went on to become weight lifting wrestler much like his idol.

:news::news::news::news::news::news:THE ROAD TO THE FINAL FOUR BEGINS NOW!:news::news::news::news::news::news::news:

  • May Madness Tracker: Lou Fine defeats Al Williamson by a comfortable score of 22-13.

If you haven't bought your tickets, now is the time.  The Final Four takes place in the gritty backdrop if Phil's Parking Lot.  It's time to punch the tickets of the four who will take center stage and bring this year's Mad Madness to its much anticipated climax.  So let's get it on and cast your votes...

And then there were eight:

Alex Schomburg vs. L.B. Cole - A battle royale of titanic cover artists.  Both Schomburg and Cole bring tireless action-rich offense and strong defense.  A post-season game of epic proportion - who will outlast the other?

Frank Frazetta vs. Matt Baker - Yet another battle of herculean masters. Frazetta pits his rough and tumble yet incredibly sophisticated style against the suave and stylistic approach which has earned Baker an easy path to the Elite 8.

Wally Wood vs. Carl Barks - Perhaps the game with the most intrigue.  Appearing docile on the outside, Barks’ duckbill is loaded with fangs as he looks to gnaw on some “Woody” in this highly anticipated challenge of contrasting styles.

Lou Fine vs. Bill Everett - Everett has left his opponents “Spellbound” as he has proven he is a threat and “Menace” on the court.  Fine needed overtime to pull away from the talented Al Williamson.  Will Fine’s team burn with a bright “Flame” or will Hydroman creator, Everett, douse those flames to move on to the Final Four?
