King Arthur fans rejoice! Netflix has unveiled the first look for Cursed, an upcoming fantasy series from Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler based on the Arthurian legend. The streamer has not revealed the exact release date, but says we can expect to see it sometime in Summer 2020.

Here's how the streamer describes the show: "Cursed is a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a young woman with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother's death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a humble mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther. Cursed is a coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible."

Cursed is based on the illustrated novel of the same name written by Tom Wheeler and drawn by renowned comic book artist and The Dark Knight Returns creator Frank Miller. For Netflix's live-action adaptation, Wheeler will take on the role of showrunner and co-executive produce alongside Miller. Season 1 will consist of 10 one-hour episodes, starring 13 Reasons Why's Katherine Langford as Nimue, Devon Terrell as Arthur, and Vikings' Gustaf Skarsgard as Merlin, among many other familiar Arthurian characters.

Just finished watching this. Started off great. Very interesting take if you're a fan of the lore. Endied well too but the middle was a snooze fest.

With all the shows going on now, I had this one on my list to watch later. I have been reading the same reviews from others like this.
