DD#1 graded at 4.5, considering regrade! 0

Hi, I plan to send this book in for reholder, wondering what your thoughts are on regrading?  Do you think this book would be likely to receive a grade bump?  I’ll list the graders notes below, thanks for your time!

- Front Cover Wear All Corners.

-Left Center Back Cover Multiple Tear With Crease

-Spine Moderate Wear Breaks Color

Seems like a fair grade and nothing in the notes indicates a press would help.

Poss that back cover could be cleaned up a bit

What's the upside... a 5.0? You got a decent grade. I'd take it. JMHO. Nice book.

I agree, good advice.  I think this is where I’m at, I’m happy with a 4.5, I just have limited grading experience.  I just wanted to be sure, since I am going to send it in for reholder anyway.

Yea, not a pressing candidate and upside is only 1/2pt bump.

Seems like a solid grade to me.  I wouldn't waste the money to press it

I am also of the camp that you are likely to spend money trying to improve it only to wind up at 4.5 still. Lots of minor things that a press won't fix.

Look for graders notes that say bend, fingerprints, dirt....things that can be cleaned/pressed out.  All of the graders notes indicate items that a press/clean can not help.

I'm in the camp to leave it as in and just send in for a fresh new case.
