The story was picked up by Scholastic Books, putting it into school classrooms for 20+ years.  The first print was tiny, and every subsequent print sold out.

Does anyone know how many copies were in the first print?

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread, but it's not the same question.

You’re right, I’m more intrigued by the Tec thread. Lots of lists available online already on Moderns.

New Mutants 98? I know some books sell for more but it's really desirable to many collectors

??? It's a simple question: What is the most valuable non-variant from the last 30 years?

Votes aren't relevant. Books that sell for less than others aren't relevant.

No so simple when you dont know what the most expensive book IS over the past 30 years.

Yeah I could look it up, its here somewhere, but I didnt.

So what price is Bone 1 going for, what publisher and what's the price?

I honestly thought it was WD 1 since the last price I've seen was around 10k

Just check GPA and you will have the answer. It is Bone 1 by a lot.

TWD 1 is dropping as the popularity of the franchise wanes. Prices peaked when Negan offed Glenn and Abraham on the show and have been dropping since.

Books from 1991 are considered "modern"? (shrug)

And relative to their respective print runs, a case could still be made for walking dead 1-  notwithstanding the fact that it actually is a "modern".

Not really, but the question was the most valuable book of the last 30 years.

??? There is no case. The question was most valuable, not highest demand, rarest, hottest, biggest key, or anything else that doesn't mean the same thing as most valuable.

How do people learn if they aren't corrected? All I did was state simple facts that were relevant to their posts and this thread. If that is being a :censored:, then I'll gladly be a :censored: 24/7.

Why should IkewithMike need to ask

when valiantman posted that information (minus the publisher, which is Cartoon Books) halfway through page one of this two-page thread?

How about you stop being a :censored:?

When did the Copper Age end? Everything beyond is a modern is it not?
