Most common power?  Stretching I say.  we got mr fanplastic, plastic man, elongated man, jimmy olsen elastic lad, 2 different elasti-girls.  
A lot of heroes fly but that doesnt count unless its their sole super power.

As far as super-smart characters like lex luthor, reed richards or bruce banner, the only indication they are 'smart' is they invent stuff.  Actual cerebral magnitude like hannibal lecter a no show.  They do the stupidest things imaginable time and again.

When Image came out, a lot of their characters had "Psionic" abilities, whatever that means.

I've noticed many have some form of regenerative capability, even if it isn't on the ridiculous level of deadpool
