Fake CGC book? 0

Got a book today and the serial # matches but it's a thinner case than all the others I have and the 9.8 is lighter on the label as well as the CGC hologram being different. The side of case can be squeezed open too...  Also, the back of the top label is a certification notice instead of the the usual relisting of the front label.

Somewhere around here there's a thread that details the changes to CGC's cases and labels that have occurred since they opened 20 years ago.

Your description sounds like the case they used for the longest time.

Understood that it may be a newb to comics or Cgc.  But are they a newb to asking for help? 
just a nudge to remind people to consider what one can do to make it easier for the complete strangers they are asking to help them.
