Hi; new to this? Can anyone tell me what benefits there are to submitting to CGC through a 3rd party such as the ones listed here on the CGC site? Thanks.

The ones on the sight are recommended but I would err on the side of caution of submitting through an LCS for a multitude of reasons but the most important is the length of time and tracking of your books

CGC themselves would reccomend you get your own account, as it is easier to keep track of your books!

Welcome!

Just a thought for your future benefit...

You might want to proof read/spell check on Thread titles before pressing send?  :insane:

Basically submitting directly to CGC requires a paid membership above and beyond grading fees. Submitting through a third-party or directly on-site at a convention is a way for the average Joe to submit books.

:news: Free CGC members still have a few days to get submissions to CGC without a paid membership. Books have to be received at CGC by May 31st https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/8171/

Spelling one word out of three correctly ain't bad. :kidaround:

One hit out of three tries in major league baseball gets you in the Hall of Fame.  :kidaround:

For $12.50 before May 31st, anyone can get the $25 membership for the next year:

"To make it even easier for collectors to submit their comics for grading, CGC is offering 50% off all new Associate memberships for a very limited time. With an Associate membership you will gain direct submission privileges to CGC, CCS, NGC, NCS and PMG; promotional offers; 24/7 online submission tracking; free grader notes for many of your submissions; and 5% off CGC grading tiers.

An Associate membership is normally $25 per year, but if you join before 10 p.m. EDT on Sunday, May 31, you will pay just $12.50 for a full year of membership! Enter code EXPERT when you upgrade your membership."
