Hello CGC friends, it's been a while. I'll start by saying I took a two year leave of absence into the vintage toy market. I've started to do some online research and wondering your various opinions. What is the reasonable price of admission for a Blue Lable AF 15 5.0. Trying to get a sense through discussion. It's been a while.

Thanks

Wouldn't a reasonable price be the current sales of a 5.0 as seen on Ebay completed listings or Heritage website or what goCollect/GPA lists for a 5.0?

If I understand Ebay correctly, looking at the completed listings a 5.0 that sufferers from Marvel Chipping in a horrific way sold for $26,100.00 on 3/22/2020.

prices are all over the place. as you noted, two equally graded copies will not sell for similar prices if one has chipping, fading, yellowing and other ugly defects compared to another that is very clean and white looking. sign up for gocollect for five bucks a month. they have some data. and check heritage, though they had a ridiculous recent 'sale' of a 4.5 for 66k.

right now, assuming it's a slabbed CGC 5.0 anywhere between $38-52K depending on eye appeal, lack of chipping or stains.
