Restoration removal on A-2 Slight/Mod CT 9.0 0

Wondering if anyone has had restoration removal done on a book with slight/mod color touch.  The "mod" part is making me wonder how much the grade might drop if there are numerous areas of CT that could make the book significantly less attractive.  Currently the book is a 9.0 with only the A-2 CT.

I have recently. Removed a tiny bit of water-soluble paint from the cover. It was C-1.

Sent it in for regrading.

They found three more areas, C-2.

I would avoid removing it and attempting a regrade if their grading of purple books is that wonky.

You can send it for prescreening to CCS and they'll tell you if it's worth doing. Don't get your hopes up.

Needs to be looked at in person. So many factors. What was used. Where at. How much. How deep does it go. Like someone else said. Have it looked at buy a person or 2 see what they say.
