Yes they can. This has been discussed before in the spinner rack threads. If you don’t mind bending the holders a bit to accommodate the width. It really is a slight bend but I realize that some may not want to do that.

I never look directly at my slabs, in case my X-ray vision does some kind of damage.

If you had to build one it wouldn't be cheap.  For display purposes I'd be tempted to buy one but I keep my books out of the light.

I like them and I get the price point to a certain extent but for me I wouldn't spend that much for it.  Even if I was to pony up the money, I prefer having the floor space in my collectibles room and id rather have my comics raw or slabbed on the walls if they are being displayed.

Can't speak to the quality, but there are quite a few similar products available on Amazon for magazines that cost 1/3 to 1/2 the price, and appear to be large enough for slabs.

1) I don't like exposing my books to direct light.

2) It looks like it could tip over.  (I live in California so "something something earthquakes").

At first, I thought it was silly AF. However...

For someone very nostalgic, I can totally see them displaying some of their collection on one of these.

It seems impractical for a store, though.

Although I wouldn't buy one, I was actually surprised at how low the shipping to Canada was.  It was only another $60, surprising because it costs me a ransom to pay CGC's shipping for one slab!
