Just a coincidence and love of the art.  Idealism does occasionally come into play though.  

Alas, these days collecting is more of a face saving exercise for survival...

This Paul cover always impressed me as idealistic.  Just imagine what an accomplishment it would be to send voyagers to the moon in a Lucas’ Death Star held together by a giant rubber band...

I believe in the industry it's called an Oreo Cheesecake. Lube and rim job definitely extra.
