Direct edition copy of Fantastic Four #388.  This copy still has the original bound-in Marvel Masterprints promo card panel, as well as a tribute page to Jack Kirby with classic bits of Kirby's artwork.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a couple spine stress creases/tics that barely break the ink.  The back cover shows some light ink rubs near the staples.  The front cover’s top page edge shows an area of wrinkling that might be attributed to mild moisture damage.  There doesn’t appear to be any staining or wear in this area, so I believe it can be pressed out.

Newsstand edition copy of Fantastic Four #349.  The comic is the ‘Mark Jewelers’ edition, with a Mark Jewlers ad that adds four pages to the book.  This issue features an appearance of the New Fantastic Four.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine plus condition, or better.  There is light blunting on the spine corners, as well as a few spine stress creases/tics that very lightly break the ink.  The bottom right corner of the front cover shows a mild ‘bend’ crease along the page edge that doesn’t break the ink.  This can be pressed out.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a small number of spine stress creases/tics…with a few that very lightly break the ink.  The front cover shows some wrinkling/crinkling in the upper right quadrant.  This most likely came from being polybagged for years.

Deluxe direct edition copy of Fantastic Four #398, foil-enhanced cover.  This issue features appearances by Ant Man and Aron, The Rogue Watcher.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a couple spine stress creases/tics on the back cover that lightly break the ink.  The front cover shows some light abrasions to the foil, near the spine staples.  The bottom right corner of the front cover shows a mild bend that doesn’t break the ink.  However, near that bend is a scratch that may or may not break the ink (it still looks silver to me).

Fantastic Four: Atlantis Rising #1 and #2, limited series.  These books have a wrap-around acetate cover overlay that forms a complete image together with the inner cardboard cover.  I prefer to sell these two books as intended...a 2-part limited series.  If anyone is interested in only one book, please PM me and we'll discuss it. (thumbsu

I believe these comics to be in Near Mint condition, or better.  I believe this estimate is overly conservative, especially since book one has 9.8 potential.  There is very light blunting on the spine corners on both books, and the acetate overlays show very minimal cosmetic scratches/scuffs.  Book one shows no discernable spine creases/tics on the overlay AND inside cover, while book two has one crease/tic near the spine’s center.  This transferred into the inside cover, very lightly breaking the ink.

$15, PLUS SHIPPING (both books together)

Fantastic Four Unlimited #6, 12-issue limited series.  This comic is a 68-page story featuring the Fantastic Four battling Namor the Sub-Mariner.  The back cover contains a tribute splash to Jack Kirby.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, or better.  There is light blunting on the spine corners, as well as a couple spine stress creases/tics that lightly break the ink.  Both covers show light soiling in places along the spine, while the back cover also shows light soiling near the bottom page edge.

1st Print copy of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Book Three.  From Frank Miller’s epic 4-part limited series, this issue features an appearance by Superman as well as the ‘death’ of Joker.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, give or take one grade.  This comic shows hardly any wear along the spine and there are no staples to worry about.  There is light blunting and wear on the spine corners.  There are no spine stress creases/tics, but the spine breaks on both covers do show ink breaks from being read.  The front cover shows a ‘scratch’ indentation on the right part of the Batman emblem, which doesn’t appear to break the ink.  The back cover shows some light wear in spots around the page, especially along the spine.
