Our High Grade CGC Certified Elkhart Collection Auction is Underway. The auction began on the night of Monday, July 13th and lasts for ten (10) days until the night of Thursday, July 23rd as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). The first lot (Amazing Adventures #4 9.4 ends at 7:43 PM EST on Thursday night, July 23rd and the last lot (X-Men #1239 9.8) ends at 11:30 PM EST. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY lot is listed without a reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $20 for this special auction. The Elkhart Collection is a high grade (the majority of the books are 8.0 and higher with many in 9.0 and higher) CGC graded collection of mostly Silver Age Marvels (and DC's) out of Elkhart, Indiana. The collection consists of over 550 comics and spans the years 1961 through the mid 1970's and features almost every Marvel super-hero title imaginable plus many DC ones. The collector primarily bought super-hero titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Brave and the Bold, Captain America, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Journey Into Mystery, Justice League of America, Showcase, Tales of Suspense, Tales to Astonish, Thor and X-Men. There are also nice runs of other titles such as Amazing Adventures, Astonishing Tales, Conan the Barbarian, DC Special, Fear, Frankenstein, Kamandi, Marvel Super-Heroes, Mister Miracle, Sgt. Fury and more. Almost every book has off-white to white or white pages and not a single book has been pressed!
