Some beautiful books posted in this thread. I've only owned a handful of Schomburgs in my time and currently own zero, until I had the urge to buy this XELA very recently. It's always good to have a Schomburg in your collection.

Awsome and beautiful group! Schomburg might be my favorite artist. I discovered him LONG ago and bought every one of his books I could. I keep picking away, here and there even now. Other than one book, I could probably duplicate that shot. Back in the day it was persistance. Now it's money...

That Fighting Yank has always made my knees buckle. One of my favorites of his. I paid up (I thought) a long time ago for a nice one. I figured it was about as close to a Suspense #3 as I was likely to ever get.

The upcoming Promise Collection is a literal Schomburg goldmine. The previously  “highest graded” stuff on the CGC census will be getting a facelift. There will be blood once bidding opens, and the reverberations will be felt for a long time as undercopies show up in the market from the lucky winners. The world is about to change.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo...     Seriously, those are amazing. Just seeing a 9.8 WWII vintage Schomburg Timely with colors that pop like that is unreal.
