Picked up this Independent comic, Funny Paper #1 from 1978. No reported copies on the census and according to the interior cover only 100 printed. Anyone know if that print run is correct?

Yes, that is correct there were 100 copies of Funny Papers #1 produced. A second and third issue were also produced at 250 copies each. All 3 books were cited in Jay Kennedy's The Official Underground and Newave Comix Price Guide (1982) - #807 -809. Because it was cited by guide it is considering to be "underground".
