I'd be looking for raw Hulks from about 210-315 for the following reasons:

1) They are HARD to find in grade

2) NOBODY bought them (Peter David talks about how when he took over Hulk with there were NO letters to the editor)

3) Right now they are VERY cheap relative to other Marvels in the time period. You can probably pick up a full NM run for maybe $150-200 (if you can find them).

Doubling or tripling your money is a lot easier when you're paying $2 each...

How much are those hulks you are speaking of worth now I wonder...by the way, your still giving sound advice after all these years.

By the way....the market has now reached the point that even 2002 CGC board people would gasp at some of the prices achieved....forget 90s collectors.

It's the "no longer bin fodder" that makes this 2003 board person gasp....

The high...and only...price for a Batman Adventures #12 9.8 in 2002 was $52.

That's....so insane.

Speculating comics is similar if not harder than speculating the stock market.

Imagine buying 40 comics of Ba 12 9.8 back than for the price of one today.

It's like buying stocks in Google when they first came out,or Facebook

Googles IPO was $80.00 and even when it went public they were already established as the leader in search engines.

Facebook was crushing Myspace at the time they went public at $60.00 a share.

Imagine thinking BA 12 would be worth $2000.00 today and only 17 years later.

The power of social media, and the influence of film...my mind is not easily boggled...but that is mind boggling.
