Not all original.

Most of the Subby story was in Motion Picture Funnies Weekly (in black and white).

Motion Picture funnies Weekly is even rarer  than Marvel 1 and never distributed. Supposedly given away at movie theatres?  Why so few copies. As you said in black and white

 

 Imho it doesn't even count as subby first apparence.

 

Still  case in point 90% original material or 100% in color

Not sure about the actual listing, but that book sold on CL earlier this year. The rear Supes is also cut and pasted like the front.
