Yes! I love this book, it's so underrated.

Valerie is also important in a broader pop culture sense. I think she's the first Black female cartoon character on American television, and the Pussycats are important in pop culture with the cartoons, movies, and in Riverdale.

This is the first appearance of the Pussycats, first band, first costumes, and also first Valerie. 

They hid this behind a lame gag strip cover, but this is a big one. This isn't the easiest book to find, as it's from before the cartoon, so sales hadn't spiked yet. 

 

This copy is rough but complete. The cover is somehow still attached, but mainly through sheer willpower. The interior is nice though!

I've included some photos of the interior pages so you can see the formation of the band, and the introduction of Valerie.
