I think he's trying to say a 75 cent UK edition is worth up to $2000 so he's giving you a deal on a book that is clearly "about 9.8" torn off corner and all.

Reminds me of the folks that don’t know any better and get a hold of a price guide. They tend to get “lazy eye” as their eyes always slide all the way over to the right side of the price column...

There will be a day when only CGC slabbed comics will be available, a day when we will rue the phrase "I'm not a proffessional grader" and miss pronounced sentences and poor descriptions  of items will be a thing of the past!

We did get US Direct Market imported cent copies by the 80s.

So, it’s American in origin, not British.

Facebook is brutal for buying. Groups are not worth the time as they always over price. If there is anyone out there making a killing on Facebook groups with inflated prices please tell me I’m wrong.

The Marketplace can be hit or miss. I’ve had some good finds in the last year but there is also a lot of overpriced 90s “vintage” comics.

I will be long gone and my 50 year old collection of un-slabbed comics with be in the hands of "non professional graders"...
