Marvel Trading Cards

I have the entire Impel 1990 Marvel Trading card set. Because of the renewed interest, I want to start getting them graded. Has anyone gone through this process before? Should I go through PSA or someone else? What is the cost to get them graded?

I was going to use PSA to get some of mine graded however they suspended service on certain tiers, so unless you want to spend $300/$600 a card maybe try Beckett however I think PSA might go for a premium over them.  Beckett is between $20 - $250 depending on service tier.  I'm just holding on to mine at the moment hoping PSA opens up the lower tiers.  I wish CGC started grading the marvel sets.

Will be interesting to see where graded card prices wind up 6-12 months from now. Some very big drops already and plenty of others revealed on eBay completed sales.

I've got a bunch of 1992/1993 raws in my collection.  I wonder if I should just list them in my Misc. thread here....

I thought about doing that as well too. It's a lot of work for cards.

Nah...less than my comic threads.  Don't have to take as many pictures...though I'm not savvy with card grading.  Lol

True photo-wise, just post front and back. Potential buyers can zoom in on corners. (thumbsu

The Hawkeye that sold for $909  from Probstein is now up for auction with PWCC...serial numbers match.

Wow. I along with most people here I'm sure, have dozens of those raw. But by the time they're able to get graded now I imagine they won't have quite the premium! I'm not even going to bother with the Marvel cards for now.

I was wondering if the day would ever come in my lifetime for Comic Cards/Marvel Trading Cards to being gaining value - for whatever reason. These auctions that just ended blew me away, along with many others we've been seeing recently.

Man, if only my zillion Yo MTV Raps cards would take off...I could retire twice! (and Lady Death, Batman Forever, Valiant, X-files, X-Men, Death of Superman, etc., etc. LOL)

I’m highly suspect of this cards path.

Those are the exact same serial number card by the same seller. That same serial number card then shows up in the PWCC Vault a short time later. I wouldn’t be surprised if the person who “sold” it the first two times on eBay was the consigner with PWCC.
