Ultimate Fallout 4 , can this hit a 8.0 or no ?

With a press and clean can this hit a 8.0 ? Finger dents, some spine ticks, and normal reading flaws. The main concern is the color breaking crease on the back in the bottom corner. It doesn’t break color on the inside, only on the outside. If it has an outside shot of hitting an 8.0 with a press and clean I would like to send it. Your opinions on this one is truly appreciated. Thank you

If that crease is greater than 1” then imo, I’m afraid your book will likely not get a grade greater than 8.0 even with a press. Add to that color breaking creases and soft corners, I have my doubts. I hope I’m wrong. should you submit, please keep us updated.

I say yes. But I wonder, with how common this book is in 9.2 and over, is there really a market for a slabbed 8.0? Maybe I'm out of the loop.

There are only around 40 Newstand copies known to exist with a 9.2 selling for $3500 recently. Only around 8 have been graded. That’s why i was thinking that this one needed to be slabbed but even with the prices soaring I didn’t want to slab it if it was going to come back in the 7.0 range.

Look how common ASM300 is in 9.2+ and check those prices.  A slabbed 8.0 in UF4 is still a $200 book and there is a market for ANY grade in this book especially a newsstand copy.

Going to say a conservative 7.5 but not a terrible presenting copy at all even if it is a modern book with some grade issues.

Your right , I think I’m going to send it in. It’s close enough with the good front eye appeal. I don’t think it would fall out of the 7s so I will box it up and send it in. Thanks to everyone for your opinions.
