Scuff mark and finger print 1 1

Hi guys,

So here are two comics with visible issues but itherwise are nice.

Can the scuff mark on the GSX 1 can be removed or at least partially ?

Also there is a finger print (top left) on the Hulk 180 comic seen bellow. I don't know if it's dirty or ink. Opinion on cleaning?

Pmail @427Impaler. He can help you reduce the finger print smudge on cover quite easily  and do other conservation work as needed.

Thanks. Not sure if you can answer but do you think the scuff Mark is permanent?

Depends if 427Impaler's magic solution can remove most of that rather long cover scuff mark safely.

"Scuff" mark on Giant Size X-Men 1. No

Finger print  & smudge on Incredible Hulk 180. The finger print part can likely be improved. It's unlikely to completely go away. But you still will have the big smudge on the Hulk's leg.

in my experience, dirt, smudges,  etc in white areas is fairly easily removed.  in inked areas much less so without diminishing the brightness of color. The problem with these two examples is the break in ink, it is irreparable without restoration.  The fingerprint smudge on the white part of the hulk 181 could be removed but the integrity of ink on the ink part cant be fixed without restoration.  Same for the GS x-men.  They both still have great value even with those defects.  If you decide to sell or to preserve the current grade Id just get them graded.  Wouldnt hurt to have them pressed and other wise cleaned up.
