I do see some color breaking wear on the front cover, but there may be other problems which can't easily be seen through the case...

Yes. In part, do to the images not showing enough to take in the whole at the necessary degree of clarity.

Spine, most notably. Color breaking fractures not revisable by pressing.

thanks for the replies..sorry if posted to wrong forum..there were 2 grader notes:

1.light creasing to cover

2.light spine stress lines to cover

It is hard to tell, but I can't see much a press and clean would help with

i don't think a press and clean will help this. The light creasing appears to be color breaking. At least at the corner.

Is there a chance for an 8.0? It's remotely possible, but, not worth the cost to find out...
