Blastaar
Just started getting into the series, late to the party. Absolutely love his art. Purchased my first commission and will probably add a page or two from the series to my collection. Not aware of much of his other work. Any fans of the artist or the series that would like to show off some great art?
Popular Post Eltanin
I'm a big fan of the series. I'll show you what I have. Buckle yourself, it's gonna be a long post. Let's start with the first Mouse Guard page I bought, from the Black Axe:https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1073099 Let's continue with a commission my parents gifted me after I graduated with a degree in astronomy (Thank you to @alxjhnsn for his help in the process):https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1155373 The character David created for this commission was later integrated in the Legends of the Guard volume 3 book. Of course, I had to get a page in which my astronomer mouse appears :https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1398722 Probably my favourite Mouse Guard page in my collection, from Winter 1152. The main characters walking in the snow: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1398719 Another commission I got, this time pre-made. Thanks again to @alxjhnsn:https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1155360 A quick sketch I got when I met David in Italy in 2014: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1668789 A commission from SDCC 2018:https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1668788 And finally, a second page from Black Axe, which I picked because it shows many non-mice animals and I thought it was an interesting contrast. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1668787 Edited October 5, 2020 by Eltanin Struggling with images Stefanomjr, Squeezy McSphincter , Blastaar and 5 others 7
Eltanin
I already have another commission planned with David, which I'll show once I get it.
Popular Post alxjhnsn
I have a handful of pieces as @Eltanin knows. The first is Kenzie and it represents the culmination of a long hunt for a painted piece by David. If you click the image, it will take you to the CAF where you can see the pieces we didn't get, read the story of our epic search, and see the sibling to this one which Anthony has for sale. I also have a drawing from his one of his sketchbooks of Midnight carrying the Black Axe. This is the piece that led me to not bid enough on the piece he painted at Comicpalooza; I got cheap. That's okay, I like the one that we won better. David also contributed to the sketchbook that Kathy and my daughters built over three years for my 60th birthday. And, finally, for a little variety - Gandalf the Gray. I highly recommend Mouse Guard to one and all. Didn't realize the size until I click on the link. Beautiful piece. Here is the commission I picked up. hmendryk
I am a fan of his Mouse Guard, but have not been able to get something I really like from that series. But I did pick up a cover he did for Dark Crystal. I like the cover art, but not the comic itself. BuraddoRun, ESeffinga and Eltanin

Any fans of the artist or the series that would like to show off some great art? I was an "early adopter" of this title. David Peterson is great. Everything he's worked on is great...including his covers for The Muppets, and Dark Crystal. There's a real talent and skill and desire there. Rare combo. Popular Post comix4fun
Also his commission work is top notch. I bought a set of 8 Batman villains he did as 8 individual 9x12 pieces back in 2007: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=253262. you can see all of these individually following the link: And I commissioned this piece directly from him back in 2009: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?Piece=557152 fenip, ESeffinga, Eltanin and 2 others 4
EggShen4thewin
I'm a big fan of his style, I always swung by and talked to him when he would come to Seattle for ECCC. I picked up this Thanos from him one year at the show... BuraddoRun and Eltanin

Eltanin
I'm of the opinion one can never have too much David Petersen's art, so here's my latest purchase: BuraddoRun, PixelPusher and ESeffinga
Popular Post Brian Peck
I have never read Mouse Guard and don't know much about it. Back in 2015 at Baltimore David Peterson's Mouse Guard was the independent comic which they chose that year to celebrate. Baltimore Con picked an independent comic/artist each year and asks other gueests to draw their interpretation of it and then they print a book with the contributions. The artwork for the book is auctioned at the show and the proceeds split with the artists. At the auction JK Snyder III 's contribution was up for auction and even though I was unfamiliar with the character I bid on it and won. Love the piece.
