My copy of Grant's Geissman's new book, The History of EC Comics, reached me last Wednesday. It's a terrific addition to my EC collection, coming in at just under 600 pages and choc full of goodies. Pleased to see a nice all-round selection of EC original art featured which, by my estimation, is printed at about two-thirds OA size (see my photo underneath in which I have a 1940s cover placed alongside one of the pages from the book.

I paid about £83 shipped for the book over here in the UK (about $105), which seems a lot cheaper than what it appears to be selling at in the USA?

Please excuse my lousy photography . . . I was photographing indoors with my flash switched off to prevent reflection.

It's $200 at US Amazon. What's a good UK source?

Got mine on eBay and I live in the UK.  It's a big hefty book, so if you're in the USA, I very much doubt that UK sellers would be offering free overseas shipping hm

Thanks for highlighting this book! I can't see ever again purchasing another EC content book since this book, to my eyes, will not be surpassed.  It's a little pricey (I paid $176.59 @ Blackwell's books; free shipping, no tax, and lightning speed delivery to Virginia) but again, it will impressively be the final addition to my EC library.
