I must applaud you guys here that sell books. I have no time to deal with schmucks like this, hence I never sell. I also want to really thank all the guys I buy from here that take such good care of me and my books.

Doesn't always hold up because I could easily re-wrap a package with nothing in it and produce a new edit.

Monday September the 28th book shipped and few hours later PayPal claim filed by Shoomanfoo.  4 different  PMs same day complaining about sig confirmation sent to me.

Wednesday September 30th book signed for and case changed from item not as described to DAMAGED.  I accepted the return with suspicion.

Tuesday October 6th the return package arrives back and no comic inside.  Immediately respond to the case with info but unfortunately PayPal didn't get the response.

Saturday October 10th, case closed in buyers favor.  I appealed the case and this time added info correctly.  Sent more info after @Beige suggested package weight and police report.

Sunday October 11th  called back to follow up on package weight info along with police report.  SLAM DUNK CASE CLOSED.

That's why I fight... because I guarantee that this guy got away with something like this before...

If @Catwomancomics wants to nominate and send me the pictures of labels and all I can do that any time. 

However, I would give it some time until you see @Shoomanfoo posting again.  I doubt @cgcmod8 would let us know specifics, but I would suspect that after his comment regarding people with disabilities, that he was given a little bit of a vacation.  Whenever a person is nominated to a HOS or Probation list they must have the ability to respond.  So you kind of can't just nominate and vote while someone is on a vacation.

Signing for expensive comics is kind of par for the course. Most private insurance requires it and USPS requires it on insured packages over $500.

Absolutely.  Like he was looking for a fight.  Signature tracking is there to protect the seller as much as the buyer and the seller doesn't have to ask for permission to protect his equity in a sale.  Also ebay requires a signature confirmation for sales over a certain amount for just this reason.

Let us keep in mind that PayPal made @Catwomancomics whole. PayPal will either chalk it up to a loss or go after @Shoomanfoo who currently has the book AND the money.   I doubt that PayPal will roll over easy on $500 though.  They will probably go after his account.

I was under the impression that neither Paypal or eBay honor seller protection unless the package is signed for. I always use signature confirmation unless it's someone I know and they assume the loss if the parcel goes MIA. Maybe I should spell that out in my terms. Some people do seem to be annoyed by it. GOD BLESS...
