PGM Amazing Spider-Man #44 2 2

Hope everyone’s doing well

Recently made the purchase of this Amazing Spider-Man #44 & I was hoping for some thoughts on the grade?

Covers are pretty good all things considered, there’s the stains (not sure if it’s ink or paint) at the top of the book as seen in the photos below but none of them affect the story or artwork. You couldn’t notice them at all once they’re slabbed, I barely even noticed when I purchased the book. I compared the covers to my CGC 5.0 Ms Marvel & the ASM 44 definitely has better covers and corners

Thanks all, I was sitting in that range as well, will probably send it in to CGC soon as I don’t want to risk anything happening that’ll make the condition worse!

Thanks everyone ! You don’t think the stains inside will drop the grade too much do you? From what I’ve seen they don’t affect the story or artwork

I’m not seeing enough wear to put it as low as Fine.

That stain is just ink overspray and while seen it does not hurt grade that much. Don’t be shocked if this received a 7.0-7.5. Maybe even 8.0

That overspray can be seen in books as high as 9.8 when it’s that minor.

I see minute spine ticks and minor edge wear. Nothing else is jumping out at me hence why I think it will be higher than Fine. Hopefully you share once grade returns so I can bask in my glory...

That distro ink is still pretty minor. This is a nice looking copy. I may be wrong, but I can see a 7.5 on this...
