Shifting back to hard ending this weekend.

Rules:

All books are returnable within 2 weeks of purchase for any reason. I try to give as many scans and pics to enable judgement of grade or detection of resto, but I have missed stuff before and I don't need to bleed the last nickel out of every sale so I have no problem with returns.  Paypal, CK, or MO accepted. International buyers welcome if you can pay for shipping that includes tracking. If you are well known on the boards and international, your books will ship in a timely manner upon any form of payment. If you are international and unknown to me, you’ll either have to pay by CK or MO, or have a long-time ever-present boardie vouch for you directly to me.

Shipping costs are exact costs for US shipping however you want it shipped. Default shipping in US is USPS Priority mail Box. If shipping ends up being more than what you’re charged, I’ll refund the difference.

No bidders of ill-repute, yadda yadda yadda.

This auction will end 8 PM Eastern time Sunday night and all bids must be in by 7:59:59 PM to be valid. If the time stamp on your bid says 8:00 or later you were too late. I will try to recap Sunday night. I will set a BIN of $1000 for each book to conform with what I believe are the rules. Nothing implied re: comic value in the BIN, I’d just prefer this to be an auction.

There are 4 auctions, one for each book. Bidding starts at $1 for each book. Bid increments must be $10 minimum. Anything else that needs clarifying, feel free to alert me by post in this thread.

1. Jungle Comics #94 CGC 8.0 just an awesome GGA cover.

2. Hand of Fate #16 4.5 pushing 5.0 but closer to 4.5. Diagonal cr fc right edge, chip lrc, staples intact well but spine split bottom about 3 inch well before staple, spine split top ~1 inch. Cover still retains nice gloss.

3. Captain Aero #1 (1941, Holyoke Publishing). This is in the running for coolest book I’ve offered in these auctions although it’s not perfect lol. Missing CF and a few other warts so I’ll describe and add a buncha pics and you can decide on grade. Cover detached, leaf around CF detached, CF missing as seen in pic meaning pages 5-8 missing on the Flagman story, tape ulc and llc. Front cover other not too bad and a great Catman ad on bc. This book is chock full of cool stories.

4. Strange Tales #115 4.5-5.0 Front cover wear consistent with grade. Nice pages, tight book.

Thanks Sha.

I'm not sure why there's so much glare on the Jungle scan, so I've uploaded an additional pic taken with my phone. Not sure if this is the "Newton rings" I've seen  discussed, but pretty sure this slab was created prior to the time books with these rings started to appear (shrug)
