Official 2020 CGC Chat Boards Holiday Gift Exchange Sign-Up 9 9

I've had a few board members inquire, so I thought I'd drop in and fill you all in on some of the behind-the-scenes of a post-CGC Gift Exchange.

I know there are many gifts still in transit, and I thank everyone for their patience with deliveries this very hectic season.
Also a big thanks to everyone who has posted that they have received their gifts. It really does help with the behind the scenes when it comes to making certain that everyone who participated receives a gift.

We had 71 participants this year.
So far, of those 71, 54 have confirmed that they have received their gift.
Of the remaining 17, 12 of their senders have confirmed (either through PM or posts) that the gift has been shipped.

This year, with shipping, it will probably be later than normal, and I will always give the original sender a chance to make it right if the need be.

I should have prefaced the above post of mine by saying that just because there are 17 boardies who haven't confirmed a delivery of their gift, does not mean that they haven't received one, only that they have not publicly (or privately to me) confirmed that they have received it.

I'll begin PMing people soon to inquire.
Anyone wondering though should feel free to PM me and I'll do some digging quicker.

Phew, what a year. 
Due to some really strange and partly sad occasions I wasn't able to open my Secret Santa gift until yesterday. 


According to FedEx and HollyJollyOne the package needed only 5 or 6 days for delivery 

The wrapped gifts ( every year I am jealous of the great wrapping paper youhave in the US):




And after unwrapping



So much nice reading stuff, and a great addition to my TMNT collection. The Shards of Narsi Shirt fits perfectly ( I really like it that it is only large and not my regular XL  )
A little cryptking gargoyle ( Funko mini) is already missing on the picture, my son claimed it within seconds 

Thank you so much David for your amazing gifts.

I was very nervous on delivery time and shocked at the speed it made it to Germany from New York. Im glad you liked the package. Merry Christmas and I hope you incur no more sad times.

I asked for 1 specific book the Allen Moore Swamp thing book 5. It was the last one I needed to have the Allen Moore run! 
 

The Batman Catwoman 80 years of romance looks great!

I sold my copy of torso maybe 10 years ago now I have another copy to read. It was my favorite Bendis story before he started riding a bunch of superhero books.

And who doesn’t like Darth Vader?!

I am sharing in both threads...

i’d like to thank @loboagain for the trades and the delicious chocolate! Haven’t read either series so looking forward to it. I’ve heard good things about each too.

Wow, what a year!
I'm checking in to let everyone know that, once again, even with the slow shipping, that all those who participated in the gift exchange this year have checked in and all gifts have been delivered. 

Back up Santas please feel free to stand down.
