While there were some great posts in amongst all that horse sheet, there were times I felt like I needed running spikes to keep my feet in that slippery filth.

Glad you got it sorted, OP.  FWIW, I would’ve done the same thing.

Is it true that if you use Mylar you never have to change your bags again? That Mylar lasts like 100 years?

Yes, but you'd also probably want to use a good acid free board with them.........like the E. Gerber Full-Backs or Half-Backs......as they meet U.S. Government standards for archival storage.

Be aware that some cheaper boards are only acid free "at the time of manufacture".....and will eventually become acidic.  They are not the same as actual acid free boards.

If you want to go even a step further, you could also use their acid free comic boxes if you feel the books are worth it.

Also.....can anyone chime in that knows if CGC still inserts micro-chamber paper inside the books when they slab them?  I know they used to, but have no idea if they still do.

CGC still inserts micro-chamber paper inside the books when they slab them as one of the papers is very slightly sticking out from one of the 25 modern age comic books that I received from CGC November 12.

I'm currently looking for e. gerber products as well. I'm in Alberta and found a store that sells mylites 2, but not fullbacks. Checked with every other store in my city, none of them have any. Anyone know any stores in alberta that sell them? I'm looking for something within the province so the shipping prices aren't terrible.

I remember @joeypost saying he cracks a lot of modern books without  microchamber paper.
