PGM Green Lantern 76 3 3

Please grade my Green Lantern #76.  Seems to be water damage in top right corner on front cover & top left corner on back cover; no staining inside the book, more slight warping. 

I’m planning to get it pressed & cleaned to help it out a bit.

is that water damage on the back cover ULC? Looks like it goes thru the whole book since the splash page corner  looks affected from it.  If so then I'm doubtful a press would help given the hit you would take for a stain like that

Yes, there appears to be water damage on top right corner of front & top left corner on back cover.

well without those stains I would've said around 5.0-5.5 but I'd think it would comeback very low due to what looks like a water stain that's affecting at least the front/back/splash page & poss more

If the water damage is FC to the BC on that corner, I would be surprised to see the book grade higher than a 3.0

Yes. Long term basement storage; the damp environment affected the entire book, not just the more obvious back corner. 2.5 or 3.0, depending upon how "puffy" the book feels and lays, but presenting more attractively than the technical grade, this book would sell for closer to the 4.0 range than the 2.5 to 3.0 range if run on ebay as is. .

3.0. Just a bit of free advice: Save your money and pass on the press and clean. You might get another half point or so. Is it worth it? I'd save my money for another copy that's already been graded. It's an important enough book to have a relatively nice copy. The prices are softening on the book as well. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
