Freebies - just answer a question to claim

Welcome welcome to my freebies thread!

Up for grabs:  some comics and comic related items. I have a few now and will probably dig up a few more.

Price?  Free.  If you live in the US, I will pay for shipping to you. If you are outside the US, then you pay via PayPal for shipping plus $1.  I will say that the dollar is a handling fee, because if I say it is to cover the PayPal fees, that would be breaking their rules.

No HOS or probationers.

To claim something, you just need to claim it and answer my simple comic related question.  Let’s say Dr. Strange or The Watcher offered to take you dinner with any comic book creator of your choice, at any time of your choice, who and when would it be?  For example, let’s say you choose to go back in time and dine with Stan Lee.  Would it be when he was starting his career in the early 40’s?  In the early 60’s as he was co-creating the backbone of the Marvel universe?  As he was on his deathbed?

You only need to say who you were dine with and when it would be. Feel free, however, if you wish, to also say what you would like to discuss with this person.

As of Monday night 11/16, these items are still up for grabs.

Friendly Dictators cards, with art by Bill Sienkiewicz.  It is an awesome card set. I bought it because I owned the original art from one of the cards. But I sold off that art years ago, so I guess I no longer need the cards.  CLAIMED by MyTasteBud

What a great idea. I would definitely invite Gerry Conway to dinner in 1992. How's that for specific? I'd treat for The Chronicle Restaurant in Pasadena an upscale fine dining restaurant that did old world service (table side preparation) and two on sight Sommeliers. I'd talk about the Punisher all night and bore him to death with all I knew. Of course I would ask him about Mike Zeck's interpretation and where initially he thought a non super powered anti hero would grow in the Marvel Universe.  :cloud9:
