Catman's right - I think your googling is off. Post that date just off the top of my head, I can think of Stan Lee's 80's Silver Surfer stories, Ravage 2099, the Stan Lee just imagines for DC. 

I could be wrong, but from my googling-

Actually, now that I think about it, Xenosmilus, I think you might be right if you count Stan Lee's last comic book writing credit that he did as a regular monthly comic book as a full-time Marvel writer/editor - and not as a limited series or back-up story.
