These big price jumps are all practically since March. Like Fishbone said I have noticed big movement on  lot of my cards that had been moving up very slowly last several years. If he has O-Pee-Chee Gretzky then yes PSA 7 are $5K  but from what I can see regular PSA 7 Gretzkys are $2000 now but thats still up from $650 back in March

Some of my cards average price in March and today. I subscribe to Vintage Card Prices for my data and these are not just a sale here or there but in most cases last 10+ sales.

These prices are average with top price at times being 30% more.

yup !   I look on ebay all the time, although those prices asked have to be taken with a huge grain of salt, but I also subscribe to  PWWC which shows past auction prices, and it's all pointed arrows upwards .......

I never trusted the PWCC auctions, very controversial with accusations of shill bidding, allowing shady consignors consign their graded trimmed/altered cards, which PSA and BGS missed and also owner of company Brent Huigens is I believe currently investigated by the FBI for auctioning off thousands of those doctored cards, in which he is aware about.  Possibly the largest case of fraud in the sports card hobby.  Kinda reminds me of Bill Mastro.

Man, I really need to check out my older daughter’s cards. I know she has my Lew Alcindor and Nolan Ryan rookies. She has that Griffey card as well as Kobe and Jordan rookie cards too. They are stored in a large trunk in her old bedroom.

Cabin fever?

Yes, like much of the vintage comic book market, collectors sitting around a computer or laptop with nowhere else to spend their excess money in this pandemic driven environment.  hm

Even moreso for those lucky enough to have made a killing in the record rise in the equity markets since they hit bottom back in March. :flipbait:
