Eerie #60 5.0 VG/FN $6

Great Ken Kelly cover pays homage to EC Wally Wood, with the accompanying story inside illustrated by Wood. This issue contains the first in the Night of the Jack*** storyline, with great art by Jose Ortiz. Also contains the Bill Dubay/Berni Wrightson story Nightfall, a humorous horror take on Little Nemo. Back page is only painted cover that Wrightson contributed to Warren. Nice copy, except for the obvious wear on the back cover.

The creature is a nod to Wood, but as I recall, the red planet and ships were a tip of the cap to this guy. One of Kelly’s best to be sure!
