[CLOSED] B&W 1970s Horror Magazine Sale (Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella incl Vampi UK, Skywald, Marvel)
4 4

53 posts in this topic

I will be selling a number of B&W 1970s horror magazines, including Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella and 1994, a couple of Skywald and Marvel.  The books are generally in mid-grade, some lower grade, with a few higher grade. I think that covers all the possibilities.

The usual boilerplate rules for this thread apply:

  1. No HoS or Probation list buyers.
  2. Payment via Paypal or Zelle.
  3. Shipping via USPS Priority for $16 for the continental United States, for the first six books.  For more than six books, shipping will be quoted.  Shipping for Canada will be quoted.
  4. First :takeit: in the thread wins.
  5. Returns accepted for 7 days after delivery.

Since this should be a quick sale, I'll offer up front a 20% discount if you purchase three or more books.

Feel free to PM questions.

Eerie #10 8.0 VF $25

Cover by Gray Morrow. Steve Ditko does sword and sorcery in Warrior of Death, while Neal Adams contributes the classic Voodoo Drum (both stories written by Archie Goodwin). Steve Ditko did his best work for Warren, and Neal Adams got his start in comics with Warren, and this is some of their best work. Some spine stress lines (invisible on white cover). Date stamp and crease on back cover.

Eerie #60 5.0 VG/FN $6

Great Ken Kelly cover pays homage to EC Wally Wood, with the accompanying story inside illustrated by Wood. This issue contains the first in the Night of the Jack*** storyline, with great art by Jose Ortiz. Also contains the Bill Dubay/Berni Wrightson story Nightfall, a humorous horror take on Little Nemo. Back page is only painted cover that Wrightson contributed to Warren. Nice copy, except for the obvious wear on the back cover.
