Vampirella 23, April 1973, VF+ 8.5-9.0, $70, Cover by the master, Sanjulian. This copy is very glossy with great colors. For those not experience collecting Vampirellas, this book is extremely difficult in higher grades and generally tough all around. I've always seen it as Sanjulian's version of Eerie 23.  I'm probably being tougher than I should be on this copy...

Tonight's going to be short and sweet.  Over the last few days, I decided to "organize and clean up a bit" in my collection and now I can't find a half dozen other books that I was going to list (must be getting old).  Oh well, have to list them next time.  The following are what will be for sale tonight

Savage Sword of Conan 9

Dracula V.1 N.8

Dracula V.1 N.9

Heavy Metal July 1990

High Times May 1980 (copy B)

Steranko Supergirls Calendar

I'll start listing at 9:30 CST sharp.

Heavy Metal July 1990, NM 9.4 or better, $90, This is such a strange magazine. It features Kruper's “The Wall” story which the board rules prohibit my describing it further. If you know what it is, you know how crazy it is. Very tough in very high grade, this copy looks like it was just printed. It's pretty much without flaws.

High Times May 1980 (copy B), VF 8.0, $60, Classic Frazetta Mothman cover and interior art. This is one of the nicest copies that I've seen of this very tough magazine. Turns out cannabis aficionados of the early 80s weren't too careful with their mags. This copy has excellent gloss and only a few issues to keep it from grading higher.  Sold to N e r V!

Dracula Vol. 1 Number 8, December 1972, NM 9.4, $70, Just a stunning cover by Enrich for this short lived series. For those that haven't seen these, they're printed on a matte cover stock and very thin without ads. They're also a strange size, larger than typical US magazines. There were only 12 issues in the run for the UK (originally printed in Spain by Buru Lan). This copy is nearly perfect.  Sold to Key Largo Comics!
