LCS has a raffle after they run their Facebook on-line auctions. If you make a purchase you get an entry into the drawing. I was the lucky winner a couple weeks ago and scored this beauty. 

Lots of neat stuff in here, organized by decade with art, reprints and memorabilia. I haven't read through the whole thing but it's really unique. Anyone seen these before?

Congrats! I have never won anything comic-related or much of anything to tell the truth. This is a great reference, and if you collect DC Comics they have a version too. If you can believe it there are some sellers on eBay listing the individual items in the book.

Is that an orig MMMS certificate?

Hi, no that is just the 1964-1967 M.M.M.S. club Welcome Letter. Authentic ones are 99% on bond paper, while only a handful were Xeroxed (To save money?) in 1967 when the club ended.

Here is also an authentic Bill Everett Sub-Mariner (1965) I just picked up. The ones in the book are from the 40's.

I got the DC version a number of years ago for Christmas but secretly wanted the Marvel one.

I've got a bunch of them. They turn up at estate sales and auctions pretty often, but most are missing a thing or two. Lots of kool stuff in them. Fairly cheap on ebay, and well worth the price.

Yes, all the memorabilia is reprint, all on paper, even the MMMS badge, and many items are different size to original. My favourite piece is a reprint of Stan Lee’s typed synopsis for FF#1 which I don’t recall reading any where else.

I’ve got one in storage that I got for Christmas a few years back. I suppose I should go grab it and check it out thoroughly .  Only ever flipped through it briefly....

Yes, everything in that book is a reproduction and actually has it printed as a Reproduction on the back sides.

These do seem pretty common and can be had on the cheap if you look. Certainly interesting look at the history.  I'm looking forward to diving into this a bit in the coming month.
