If I am not mistaken, I thought one of the issues with this year as opposed to previous holiday seasons had to do with them restricting heavily the use of over time. I think we know how that occurred but I rather not have to deal with yet another strike for mentioning the ridiculousness of that situation.

 

Mine says she works a 6 days a week, and the halftime employees are working full time.

I don't think I know what your referencing, except possible politics jabs.

I've sent a bunch of books out over the past two months. Here are the ones that still aren't showing as delivered. All to the US. Slabs are all Priority, raws First Class. Several shipped within these have been delivered.

I am really starting to like UPS. I know there are horror stories from there, like everywhere, but they are well above 90% reliability with me. This was just sent with standard 9.99 shipping and it got there in a day.

You cannot even go by this right now.  I have RECEIVED packages that still say that they are in transit.  In one instance it was received on 12/24.  So call me jaded but I wonder how many buyers are going to try and take advantage of claiming that they did not receive packages that they actually received. 

I am only waiting for one item now that was ordered before Christmas.

True, some may have been delivered. I haven't had any reports of items being received while not showing as delivered yet. I know it happens though.

What the list does accurately depict are unknowns for me as a seller. I don't know if any of these have been delivered. That plays into your question of possible dishonest buyers claiming something wasn't received, when it was. Either way, it just means there are some extra stresses as a seller right now when shipping via USPS.

I still have a non comic shipment (Priority) from 11-24 that has disappeared.

I think my story beats everyone else's.

I ordered a book that was sent from the US back in early Sept through USPS. It accidently got sent to Australia. It got redirected back to Canada in early Dec. It landed in BC today, and it still needs to travel to Ontario.

Oh, and it's not an inexpensive book :ohnoez:

I haven't purchased a single book since this all went down.

Sorry to miss the Christmas exchange this year. I'm sure it all turned out well for everyone. With the lockdown and my new home I had plenty to keep me busy.

I have seen more and more misrouting with so many shipments. I sent something to Chicago that somehow was sent to San Juan, Puerto Rico then eventually back to Chicago.

This! Bought a book w/ a seller who was 80 miles north of me. Figured I was safe. Damn thing was routed 1,700 miles away before slowly making its way back across the country over the course of 10 days. I should have just picked it up in person :sorry:
