I really wish we could find more about the 'grease pencil S' collection

They are not CGC slabbed, nor are they 9.8s.  But they are VF+ Silver Age major titles, and that is my swing zone.  As a completionist collector, it is getting harder and harder to find those last few missing books for my collection.

I picked up a few cool comics this year (no real grails, though).

Hard to narrow it down to 3. 10 would have been better, but I'll stop with 4.

1) Batman 171-I'd been after this one for a long time and was happy to pick this up from MCS as a 3.5. No hesitation on pulling the trigger on this one. Besides, it was trade credit.

2) Hawkman 9-This was an upgrade of one of my favorite covers ever. Picked it up on ebay. I grade it as a 6.0, maybe a little higher.

3) Flash 153-I had a CGC of this and sold it (damn you, Newton Rings). It was difficult finding a decent copy at a reasonable price. MCS didn't have an actual picture of this, just a generic one. They graded it as a 2.0, but baby, I don't care. It's mine.

4) Green Lantern 36-another upgrade of a favorite cover of mine.

I’ve posted in this thread for the past few years. Honestly I have delved into new hobbies and money has been directed towards new passion, but out of a love of the game, I’ve managed 2 books this year.

Hey everyone --

Great stuff across the board here, everyone!  I had a great 2020 in terms of selling (a lot) and buying (a few)...I picked up the following book and (after a long stretch of time payments) the following pieces of Marvel-Team-Up OA from 1976 (the year I discovered comics)...I made a bunch of other moves as well, including selling an FF #1 in 6.5, but these additions are my personal favorites, especially since I never thought I could afford an OA cover.
